Year Trip around the US. Preparing for Trip: Day 3.
Should we travel in a Sprinter van, pop up trailer attached to our SUV or just drive our car and bring a tent?
We've three options. 1) To buy a Sprinter van that has a queen size bed, mini kitchen, bathroom and shower 2) Buy a pop up trailer or 3) Just carry a tent in our car. What do you suggest?
Here's the pro's and cons:
Sprinter van pro: Ability to just relax at the end of a day without having to worry about putting up a tent. Con: 15 mile per gallon makes buying gas and traveling more expensive.
Pop up trailer pro: Pretty easy to pop up at the end of the day and lots of "room" (sleeps 6). Cons: Pulling around a 2000 lb trailer and pull on engine.
Drive a car and bring a tent pro: Super easy on gas. Con: Having to set up a tent a lot is a bit irritating (lol). Plus can't put up a tent in the city if we had to.

This week I wanted to share with you our trip to Santa Monica beach.
I called our trip "Sand n Waves" because the sand was so warm
on my bare feet and the waves were so calming and inspirational.
