Have You Downgraded Your Dream?

 

  "I'm SO scared right now!" That's what I was thinking.  

  I just passed through 3 squalls (that felt like miniature hurricanes). It brought driving rain over the ocean and a fast wind that about scared my socks off! To sum up this crazy adventure, I just kayaked the two hours out to “Chinaman’s Hat” (that cool island out there).

   

  I made it to a super pretty beach…and it was so worthwhile. However, it was a lot of work (Haha!) 

It is interesting what you learn from life. Even exciting visions of “kayaking out to that cool island” comes with a big price tag and sometimes it’s worth downgrading our dream to something a little more close to home! 

 (Not that we shouldn't want great things but it's ok to turn around when we see that it’s more than we bargained for!) 

 Sometimes people start working online and realize that their dream to create instant income is a lot harder than they thought. Sound familiar? 

It was for me too. But the vision of working for myself and the freedom to be able to work my own hours and from anywhere in the world pushed me on. 

 It definitely cost me time, effort, money, and tears but it's been SUPER worth it. I think you'll see that it is too.

  "I could hardly see with all the rain and cold wind in my face. “Ow!" 

I said, as I nicked my hand trying to open the hatch door. The sailboat was on remote control now and I was taking cover! 

 The hatches were all firmly closed and Buttercup (my cute golden dog) was snuggled up all warm on the front v-birth bed. I thought about how she was all nice and warm in the midst of the storm. 

 "Wow, must be nice!", I thought. I'm not sure If I was jealous or just happy for her as I was still enjoying..."
