For many years I wanted a way to create extra income and eventually work my way out of a job. I was tired of doing the same thing and being a wage slave. I’m guessing you can relate! 

 Here’s a little about my journey: 

In 2012 I lost my job as a teacher when our school lost funding. 

I tried to create a full time income for myself that first year but failed miserably. 

That year I lost all my investment money trying to create an online business that payed. I was either scammed or told false promises. It was a tough road. But I never gave up. That’s a key element right there if you want to know. 

All in all I’ve been in 40 opportunities. Yes I’ve made $1000’s in some of them but could not seem to create the consistency that it took to change my life. 

I knew somewhere down deep it all stemmed with a lack of understanding advertising. Now i know with ANY business you start, you have to learn advertising or you might as well just quit. 

Another thing that changed for me was the ability to work with a good mentor who has been down the road and done it. 
This has been my life line and I think will be yours too.

The SIXTEEN Steps

Wondering what the Sixteen Steps are?

Answer:

The Sixteen Steps is a duplicatable system that uses GDI Team Elite and other relative income sources that gives you the opportunity to create a six figure yearly income.

It all begins with Vision.

"The Problem of Duplication"

The real problem in creating leverage, is being able to help someone do what you are doing.

Once you accomplish duplication, your pay and efforts double. When you build a team who can duplicate what you're doing, you quadruple your earnings and then it begins to build away from you and all it needs is your supervision. You can become very rich very fast if you can create duplication with a good system that's not scamming people.

That's what the Sixteen Steps are all about.

If you take good notes on each of the Sixteen Steps and do them, in a year from now your life ought to be very different. I know that's sounds crazy but if you trust me you will see how many income streams are built into these steps.

I got distracted again...

This morning I got DISTRACTED and I'm SO glad I did! Haha!

Albie here. 

This morning I opened an email by a new client and attached was one of the bonuses I give out in my business. I can't believe I had actually never read it - so I took a look! 

It was an ebook by Michael Price, the creator of Priceless Possibilities (which owns the Power Leads System). 

At first I just glimpsed at it wondering if it was material I knew all about but quickly realized it was full of GREAT information. Yes there were a bunch of things I already knew and it was great review but 

I continued to read PAGE AFTER PAGE for about an hour just inhaling everything I could. It really gave me a JUMP and a reality check at building my business! 

 I don't have time to go into the whole thing but three particular VERY IMPORTANT things it went into that caught my attention were:

1) Duplication 

2) Can I do this? 

and

3) Filling the "hole".

Duplication is obvious because if people feel something is too complex and cannot duplicate what they saw you do then people will just give up. 

"Can I do this?" Is a question everybody asks before they join your business. They want to see if they believe that it's something they can do. If they believe they CAN then that's good news because you have gained a new member. Advertising is high on the list. They need to know it's something that they can do for free to bring in enough new people to be successful. 

"Filling the hole" just refers to what you are actually selling. If you sell drills for instance, you are not really selling drills - you are selling the idea of creating a hole (which is what the drill does). This is a big difference! If you can remember to sell the end result and not just your product then you have gone far with your marketing.

A Walk in the Sunset

...and it's too bad because the things I'm going to say cost me years of my life to learn. 

"The Skill Set Required to Make Consistent income Online:"

So you know I'm going to share something with you today that no one ever shared with me when I first got started trying to make income online in 2012.

At that time I had just lost my job as a kindergarten teacher because my school lost funding. I had three summer months paid left to try and replace my income.

What it really took! 

I took all my investment money and spent It on trying to build an online business. I tried opportunity after opportunity and often worked ten hours days or longer. But by the end of the summer I had officially failed.

Sure I had made a few hundred dollars but I had not figured out how to make consistent income online. So I got a new job but never really gave up. In fact as the years went by I kept pursuing my dream harder and harder.

I joined 40 different opportunities in the process and spent thousands of dollars. I met mentor after mentor and did everything they said but eventually realized they were just stringing me along.

Eventually I got really fed up with spinning my wheels and I came across a quote by Jim Rohn. It said: "Formal education will earn you a living but self education will earn you a fortune'

That quote propelled me in a new direction.

Instead of joining new opportunities and trying to find the answers in that, I just began looking for the answers by reading and through leaning online. I got serious and began studying marketing - "eating up" everything I could about advertising and business

. Eventually in the pursuit of knowledge I came across a mentor and seven figure online income earner by the name of Alan Cosens. I could tell from the beginning that he was the real deal. Not only that but he was open to talking. I was stunned! So began my conversations with Alan and I began seeing the actual process that he was using.

I realized at that point that I was way behind. I had been taking short cuts everywhere.

The odd thing is that most internet business encourage you to take the shortcuts. But looking back that was only because they were interested in making everything look easy and making another sale off of you.

In the end I realized there was an actual skill involved here and a basic foundation of sales that was based on sales from way before the internet.

The internet only made things a little easier after you tweaked it a little. But all my problems were because I was disregarding these basic points

. I'm not going to go into all these points right now but I will point out a couple for you.

One is that real work is required in giving real content of value to people.'

All the programs I had got involved with tried to steer you away from getting involved with your product personally. It all was geared towards automation and making everything "super easy to do." Hear me out - those are good things but it NEVER replaces your passion about a product and your work to bring value to others.

When people see this, they know that their is something real and valuable there. They make a connection with you and subconsciously YOU become what they are BUYING. The actual product or service is just the icing.

And the other tip is real communication has to happen. Internet "automation" is only a plus but it definitely is NOT a replacement!

Ok so to sum up, once I started to make adjustments for these things I started making consistent income online.
