The land – ever so far away now – passed by slowly too. Looking through the great bellowing sails, filled with air that empowered the boat, I could make out hundreds of stars waiting up in the sky to be counted.

"...I was sitting on the bow as the boat sailed fast over the dark waves, when all of a sudden a white apparition appeared below in the depths of the sea.

It's white body I now recognized to be a large fish - most likely a dolphin, swimming fast in front of the boat! 

After zig-zagging this way and that,  it suddenly disappeared leaving me only a fast vague memory of its presence..."
